Parallax EDS by 4pi Analysis (Not available)
RevolutionEDX™ is a full-featured x-ray microanalysis system offering advanced technology developed and manufactured by 4pi Analysis. For PRISM there are two options: RevolutionEDX Premium System and RevolutionEDX SDD.
SDD DetectorThe Premium System offers a liquid-nitrogen cooled detector with a 10mm2 Si(Li) crystal for detection down to beryllium and quantitative analysis down to boron. The detector has a low-noise preamplifier, a resolution of 133eV or better, and a peak-to-background ratio of 18,000:1.
The SDD System offers a Silicon-drift technology detector with a resolution of 129eV or better. The detector is Peltier cooled–no liquid coolant is required. The standard sensor is 10mm2; a 30mm2 sensor is available.
Both systems include high-speed spectrum imaging and digital imaging and the 4pi Revolution® Quant/Imaging Software package.
RevolutionEDX can be equipped and calibrated with our exclusive LoMAX EDS optic for up to 10X sensitivity enhancement of light elements Be through F (or energies 100ev to 1000ev).
RevolutionEDX is available from Parallax only packaged with our HEXS WDS.
